There is, as you say something beautiful about abandoned human structures. I think also something sad. I wonder if it isn’t the story of the building. When I see them, the first thing that comes to mind is, “What’s it story.” I think that story is written in to its walls and structure. Imagine if we could read it. Lovely image – thank you.
This truly is mesmerizing.I can’t imagine being in that place with anyone else. The title is perfect.
The composition is great–I was referring to the content and the fact that this beautiful abandoned building is at the edge of a precipice, adding a precarious, “no-exit” quality to image you produced.
stunning piece. the structure itself is haunting, especially when you consider it’s surroundings. I’m off to photograph an abandoned theme park later this year, I’m so looking forward to walking around it. The contrast with your photo being I guess that a theme park is built for crowds. This building looks destined for solitude. Beautiful.
